On September 19, 2017, the New York City Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission as lead agency, issued a Notice of Completion for a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the East Harlem Rezoning proposal.
A public hearing on the DEIS was held on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2017, at 2:00 PM in the Manhattan Municipal Building, Mezzanine level, 1 Centre Street, New York, New York 10007, in conjunction with the City Planning Commission's citywide public hearing pursuant to ULURP. The public hearing also consider a modification to the Proposed Action, (ULURP No. N 170359 (A) ZRM). Written comments on the DEIS were requested and accepted by the Lead Agency until Tuesday, September 5th, 2017. The FEIS incorporates responses to the public comments received on the DEIS and additional analysis conducted subsequent to the completion of the DEIS.
