Administration for Children's Services

Administration for Children's Services (ACS) offers child welfare organizations a wide range of professional development opportunities, training, coaching, and support necessary to provide the highest quality services to the children and families in their care.


Department for the Aging

The Department for the Aging's Learning Center offers a broad range of training courses that help staff and volunteers of DFTA-funded organizations develop and strengthen the knowledge and skills needed to effectively serve New York's older population.


Capital Funding for Cultural Nonprofits

The Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA) supports design and construction projects and major equipment purchases at the 33 City-owned cultural institutions and approximately 200 other cultural facilities throughout the five boroughs. Eligibility requires that organizations must have received institutional or programmatic support from the DCLA in one of the past three Fiscal Years, among other requirements.


Department of Small Business Services

The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) offers organization management and leadership skills training and tools to empower community-based organizations across the five boroughs.


Department of Youth and Community Development

Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish.

DYCD contracts with various community-based organizations that provide services and activities for youth and low-income populations.

Funding Agreements Department

Funding Agreements Department has a dedicated team working with mainly non-profit organizations awarded City funds by elected officials. NYCEDC provides guidance and careful management to assist nonprofits through the City and construction processes to ensure City capital funded projects come to fruition.

Nonprofit Capital Project Planning Workshop Series

Nonprofit Capital Project Planning Workshop Series holds a series of one or two day workshops designed to help organizations plan capital projects, including the renovation of facilities, acquisition of spaces, or new construction.
