NYC Media, The City of New York's Broadcast Network, Receives Four New York Emmy Awards

 

NEW YORK, NY – NYC Media, the City of New York's broadcast network and production group, received four awards from a total of seven nominations at the 66th Annual NY Emmy Awards. The awards were presented live on Saturday, October 28.

"We are proud to celebrate the 2023 NY Emmy Award wins for our NYC Media programming and, along with our friends at the NY Chapter of Television Academy of Arts and Sciences, highlight all the incredible content that is created right here in NYC, the creative capital of the world," said Commissioner of the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, Pat Swinney Kaufman. "A huge congratulations to NYC Media General Manager Karen Johnson, and her team, on this accomplishment."

As part of the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME), NYC Media informs, educates and entertains New Yorkers about the city's diverse people, neighborhoods, government services, attractions and activities. Since a rebranding in 2004, NYC Media has garnered 86 NY Emmy Award wins. The channel recently celebrated its 55th anniversary.

All four of NYC Media's 2023 NY Emmy Awards were presented to Once Upon a City, a signature animated collection of amusing, and surprisingly true stories capturing New York City's eccentric history, from the outrageous to the fantastic. Here is a list of NYC's Media's 2023 NY Emmy Awards:
