NEW YORK - The NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) is pleased to announce the Fall 2023 schedule for the "Made in NY" Talks series. Presented in partnership with the Center for Communication, the series brings together industry leaders to share insights, information and news with New Yorkers looking to work in the media and entertainment industries. The talks are in-person, free and open to the public.

“We are thrilled to once again partner with the Center for Communication on the “Made in NY” Talks series which, this Fall, provides resources and information that supports our city’s economic recovery and speaks to topics that are top of mind for those looking to work in the entertainment industry,” said Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, Pat Swinney Kaufman. “As the parties currently engaged in discussion around the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes continue to look for an equitable solution, these panels look to prepare New Yorkers for the anticipated increase in production, thanks to the recent extension of the state film tax credit, once the strikes are over.”
