    MOME & New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) announced that applications are open for the 7th Annual New York City Public School Film Festival, celebrating the talent and diversity of student voices. Middle and high school students throughout NYC can apply now through March 7, 2025 at nyc.gov/nycpsfilmfestival.


Women’s Fund for Media, Music & Theatre

    MOME announced the selection of 72 projects, led by women creatives, that receive grants in the fifth and final round of the NYC Women’s Fund for Media, Music and Theatre. The $1.3 million awarded in this round brings the grand total of funding to $10 million, allocated to a total of 415 recipients.

    MOME announced that Daniel Lowe was awarded the second-ever "Made in NY" Grant, to use as finishing funds for his game, Parkour Legends. This developer grant is part of NYC's commitment to supporting the Digital Games industry, making it accessible to all New Yorkers.
