Updates regarding asylum seekers operation
Many community groups have come together to try to meet needs of the asylum seekers at the center at St Brigid's on 7th St. We are working with City agencies and particularly with Commissioner Iscol of Emergency Management. At the Community Board 3 Board Meeting on February 27 Commissioner Zach Iscol of NYC Emergency Management (NYCEM) will update the community on the agency's asylum seeker operations and community engagement efforts in CB 3.
The meeting will be PS 20 at Essex and E. Houston Streets, Feb 27 at 6:30pm - the Commissioner is scheduled to speak at 7pm. The meeting will be in person but also streamed at https://youtube.com/live/_q2THHV4OWs. Only board members can ask questions at the meeting but you may submit questions for the Commissioner at QnA@cb3manhattan.org by February 23.
