COVID-19 Response

September 22, 2021 Update: LPC will resume fully remote public hearings/meetings on Tuesday, September 28th under Governor Hochul’s recent order. Public hearings/meetings will be conducted via the Zoom teleconferencing application, which allows applicants and members of the public to participate using the Zoom app on their computer or smartphone or by telephone using a dial-in number. For more information, see our hearings page.

While we have staff in the office, please continue to send all correspondence and communicate with us by email so that we can respond more quickly. Applications and corresponding materials should continue to be submitted electronically via E-Filing.

The below outlines measures we have taken to ensure we can continue to serve the city while protecting the health of its employees and the general public.

Public Hearings/Meetings

Applications and Permits

LPC is accepting electronic filing of all permit applications and is issuing permits electronically. Application forms and associated drawings, photographs and other materials must be emailed to LPC at applications@lpc.nyc.gov. Do not mail or messenger paper application forms, drawings or other materials to the office; you will be asked to resubmit them electronically. Read more about E-filing below.
