The NYCD Haitian Society was formed on December 2018. The mission of the Haitian Society has been formed to support uniform and non-uniform members of service of the NYC Department of Correction by working together to empower, educate, and reinforce their knowledge the of the departments rules regulations. Ensuring that we familiarize our members with newly accepted practices and procedures of the department. Help develop a sport of brotherhood and good fellowship amongst our members. To develop future leaders and encourage fuller participation in activities within the department. To assist the New York City Department of Correction in addressing the needs of the various members of service and communities who hail from the country of HAITI.
