Operations
- Director of Operations: Oversees all aspects of fiscal management, procurement, technology, and general operations.
- Data Engineer: Technical lead in the design and execution of data collection systems, technology, and approaches.
Legal
- General Counsel: Works with staff across the office to provide strategic legal advice and guidance, as well as lead, develop, and execute initiatives where appropriate.
- Special Counsel: Advises on immigration legal needs and gaps and makes recommendations on city policy and legislative, advocacy, and programmatic responses, and leads in executing such actions as appropriate.
Policy
- Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs: Directs team to conduct research and evaluation, track federal, state, and local developments, regularly engage with partners, advocates, and experts, and drive MOIA’s legislative and policy agenda.
Programs
- Program Manager: Responsible for managing a subset of MOIA contracted vendors. This role is critical in the day-to-day management of programs as well as long-term development and improvement of service delivery.
Language Access
- Language Access Capacity Building Manager: Develops and implements MOIA’s language access technical assistance strategy, which will include identifying agency needs, designing and organizing workshops and training to address needs and share best practices, establishing communities of practice among agencies to share challenges and strategies to advance language access, and developing and disseminating guidance materials.
- Bengali Language Access Specialist: Translates materials into Bengali, liaises with the Bengali-speaking community, and advises city offices and agencies on effectively communicating with the Bengali-speaking community.
- Polish Language Access Specialist: Translates materials into Polish, liaises with the Polish-speaking community, and advises city offices and agencies on effectively communicating with the Polish-speaking community.
- Arabic Language Access Specialist: Translates materials into Arabic, liaises with the Arabic-speaking community, and advises city offices and agencies on effectively communicating with the Arabic-speaking community.
- Chinese Language Access Specialist: Translates materials into Chinese, liaises with the Chinese-speaking community, and advises city offices and agencies on effectively communicating with the Chinese-speaking community.
- Korean Language Access Specialist: Translates materials into Korean, liaises with the Korean-speaking community, and advises city offices and agencies on effectively communicating with the Korean-speaking community.
- Urdu Language Access Specialist: Translates materials into Urdu, liaises with the Urdu-speaking community, and advises city offices and agencies on effectively communicating with the Urdu-speaking community.
- Haitian-Creole Language Access Specialist: Translates materials into Haitian-Creole, liaises with the Haitian-Creole-speaking community, and advises city offices and agencies on effectively communicating with the Haitian-Creole-speaking community.
Outreach
- Neighborhood Liason: Works closely with City and nonprofit partners to conduct outreach across New York City's diverse immigrant community and ensures concerns of immigrant communities s are accounted for in implementing City policies and programs.
