Thank you for your interest in working for the New York City Department of Social Services-Human Resources Administration (DSS-HRA). We are dedicated to fighting poverty and income inequality by providing New Yorkers in need with essential benefits. As the largest local social services agency in the country, HRA helps more than three million New Yorkers annually by administering more than 12 major public assistance programs, including SNAP or food stamps and Medicaid, with more than 13,000 employees and an operating budget of $9.6 billion.

We are looking for people to join our staff who are dedicated to serving our City and their fellow New Yorkers with care and compassion. We have openings in many fields, including social work, case managers, legal, police, laborers, project managers, outreach, operations, and administration.
