Affordable housing is coming to the neighborhood of Boerum Hill in Brooklyn! HPD is kicking off the public engagement and the Request for Proposals process for two City-owned sites currently used for parking on Nevins Street and 3rd Avenue. HPD is planning for both sites to have 100% affordable housing, with one serving older New Yorkers and the other prioritizing deeply affordable housing for families.

Crafted with insight from New Yorkers who experienced homelessness, the blueprint focuses not just on creating homes but also on getting New Yorkers into them more quickly.

Our mission is to promote quality and affordability in the city's housing, and diversity and strength in the city's neighborhoods.
