Support Separated Families

The Mayor's Fund is collecting monetary donations to support efforts to help unaccompanied immigrant children and families, including those who were separated and those who are in federal custody in New York City. Donations will be used to support organizations that are working locally and nationally to provide help including: legal and social services, medical care, help with release from detention, and supplies including toys, food, and water.

"Everywhere I go in the last few days people have asked me what they can do to help. I tell them to call their senators and demand real immigration reforms. I tell them to show their outrage through organized protest. And now I can tell them the Mayor's Fund for New York City has a dedicated place on their website for donations. The contributions will help these families in many ways, and also purchase affinity objects like teddy bears to help soothe traumatized children."
- First Lady Chirlane McCray, Chair, Mayor’s Fund to Advance NYC
