Fire Prevention Week

National Fire Prevention Week is observed in the United States and in New York City during the week in which October 9 falls. Every year, the FDNY, FDNY Foundation and its partners call on all New Yorkers to be #FDNYSmart by promoting fire and life safety education. National Fire Prevention Week was established in 1925.
