The FDNY has teamed up with the FDNY Foundation and NYC Service to offer a customized, hands-only CPR training program aimed at educating New York City high school students. The FDNY Teens Take Heart CPR Program helps prepare participants to act as citizen responders, stepping in and helping to save a life in response to cardiac arrest. The program also promotes cardiovascular health and ways to live a heart-healthy lifestyle.
The fast-paced program offers hands-on training in lively and interactive forums.
Please note, this program currently is offered to New York City high schools only. Registration must be completed by a school administrator, someone authorized to act on behalf of the school, a sanctioned club or youth group with an official affiliation to a New York City high school.
