Samaritan Village

For more than 50 years, Samaritan Village has been wholly dedicated to improving the quality of life for New Yorkers facing adversity. What began decades ago as an outreach program to struggling members of its community has evolved into a nationally-recognized human services organization, delivering a rich away of services including substance abuse treatment, mental health and primary care, specialized programs for military veterans, vocational and employment services, shelter and transitional housing, and services for seniors.

As one of the Department of Homeless Services' (DHS) non-profit providers, Samaritan Village provides comprehensive health and human services to more than 6,000 individuals annually through a network of more than 20 facilities throughout New York City and New York State.

Samaritan Village believes that "good" resides in each of its clients - men and women, veterans, mothers and babies, families, and the elderly. The organization embraces its strong reputation for quality services, outstanding facilities and expert staff and remains committed to delivering a quality continuum of care. With a dedicated staff and steadfast partners in the community, Samaritan Village commits itself on a daily basis to finding the good within the clients it serves.
