The Department for the Aging (DFTA) contracts with social service agencies throughout the five boroughs to operate Friendly Visiting programs. To find an agency that serves an area where you are interested in volunteering, please select your desired borough in the next question. You will then see a list of one or more agencies that operate in that borough, along with the list of neighborhoods/areas each covers. Select the agency that operates in the area where you are most interested in serving. You will be referred to and considered for only one agency at a time.
