Due to the state and city’s ongoing response to COVID-19, DEP’s boat offices in the watershed are closed. We will not be steam cleaning fishing boats or allowing new fishing boats on the reservoirs until further notice.

The processing of new boat tags or renewals will be delayed, along with paper applications for a DEP Access Permit. Access permits can still be obtained or renewed by using our online system.

DEP’s recreation lands, trails and fishing areas remain open for the public to enjoy. If you venture outdoors, please remember to maintain a physical distance from others, wash your hands, and sterilize frequently touched surfaces.
