NYC DDC Participates in the Annual Majors Jamboree event at the City College of New York

On Thursday, October 25, 2018, the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC) participated in the City College of New York’s (CCNY) Annual Majors Jamboree event, organized by CCNY’s Career and Professional Development Institute.
 
Infrastructure Division Senior Traffic Engineer, Asheque Rahman, represented DDC at this career development event. The event took place at CCNY’s Great Hall and provided students with an opportunity to meet with faculty and CCNY alums for the purpose of getting advice and information on deciding on a career goal and/or major or minor.
 
Mr. Rahman spoke to approximately 50 students and shared his experience working at DDC as a Senior Traffic Engineer. He also advised students about choosing the appropriate engineering major and shared details about the function of DDC and its STEAM Initiatives Program. Mr. Rahman is a proud alumnus of CCNY. He has participated in the CCNY Majors Jamboree since 2012.
