Over the course of the last few months, Build it Back (BIB) construction management firms hosted a number of networking events to connect with industry subcontractors and suppliers who qualify as minority or women-owned business enterprises (MWBE).
Construction subcontractors and suppliers in the New York City area were invited to attend the two-hour networking and information sessions. Key team members from each of the BIB construction management firms were on hand to discuss a wide range of topics including the firm's history, safety program, pre-qualification process, commitment to diversity and current subcontracting opportunities within the Build it Back program. Interested attendees were strongly encouraged to bring information about their businesses, such as company brochures, business cards, and capability statements.
The events took place on August 4th, August 17th & September 6th 2016. If you are interested in subcontracting opportunities with the Build it Back Program or if you would like to attend a similar event, please contact the Office of Diversity and Industry Relations.
