Single Block Festivals

When hosting a single block festival, keep in mind the following:

  • Applications must be submitted 90 days before the event.
  • There may be additional fees for hosting a single block festival outside of the $25 application fee
  • Single block festivals are limited to one block and 12 consecutive hours
  • Rain dates are not permitted
  • Your organization must be a nonprofit with an EIN and proof of nonprofit status. This documentation must be submitted with the application
  • Your organization must be insured for a minimum of $1 million. Additional insurance is required
    • Additional Insured:  The City of New York, including its officials and employees, must be covered as additional insured.
    • Certificate Holder: The certificate holder should be listed as “City of New York c/o Street Activity Permit Office, 253 Broadway, New York, NY 10007.”
