- March 18, 2023 Deadline for Updated SST ID Cards Approaches - The new one-card NYCDOB Training Connect card will be the only SST identification card DOB will accept as valid proof of worker site safety training beginning March 18, 2023. The new NYCDOB Training Connect SST ID card will replace all previously issued SST ID cards. Visit NYCDOB Training Connect for a list of Department-approved Course Providers and course training locations.
- SST Provider Update - As of June 23, 2022, EHS Academy LLC’s authorization to conduct Department-approved courses is revoked and all certificates of completion for a course or course completion cards, including Site Safety Training Cards, issued by EHS Academy LLC are revoked and are no longer valid. Local Law 196 of 2017
As a requirement of Local Law 196 of 2017, workers at job sites requiring a Construction Superintendent, Site Safety Coordinator or Site Safety Manager must have a total of 40 hours of safety training. To determine whether your job site requires the safety training, please visit the Site Safety Construction Map and enter your job site address.
