"I am pleased that the State Assembly and Senate have agreed on legislation to renew the regulation of vendors on our streets. Without this law, many streets have been clogged with vendors, making it hazardous for pedestrians and hurting our quality of life. When this law is passed and signed by Governor Pataki, vendors will know where and when they can operate, and pedestrians will find our streets safer and more welcoming."
