Customer Service Borough Offices Extend Hours for Payment of
Water Bills and Liens on Property
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection
(DEP) is extending Customer Service borough office hours, Monday
through Thursday until July 28, 2004 from 9 00 am to 7:00 pm. Customers
may receive assistance concerning their lien sale notices for outstanding
water and sewer charges and may pay their bills via check or money
order (cash and credit cards will not be accepted). Customers may
also enter into payment agreements at the borough locations. Customers
who wish to pay with cash or by credit card must visit one of the
Department of Finance’s (DOF) Business Centers. DEP personnel
will also be available at the Business Centers during their regular
business hours to assist customers with lien sale notices for outstanding
water and sewer charges.
