New York City Vietnam War POW/MIAs

Five decades after the end of the Vietnam War, dozens of New Yorkers who served in that conflict remain missing and unaccounted for.

The New York City Department of Veterans’ Services supports our Federal government’s efforts to provide a full accounting a of the remains of these missing service members.  We hope for a day when every family can finally receive closure and achieve peace.

We are also committed to ensuring that these service members and their families are not forgotten, and that they are included in our community’s moments of remembrance.

If you are a family member, comrade, or friend of one of New York City’s missing Vietnam service members, we invite you review the lists below, and to contact us using this form to join our community.
