Bronx Metro-North Station Area Plan
Metro-North is coming to the East Bronx. The regional rail service is estimated to arrive in 2027 with four new train stations at Hunts Point, Parkchester/Van Nest, Morris Park, and Co-Op City. The coming rail service brings a once in a lifetime opportunity to support Bronxites with access to jobs, housing, amenities, and more. The City and local communities have been planning together since 2018 to ensure the stations are a positive force for the Bronx. In the coming year, the City will continue to work with the public as we bring a plan for the station areas to life. Learn more about Bronx Metro-North Station Area Plan - Adopted 8/15/24
