All land use and environmental (CEQR) applications, application revisions, and any associated fees should be submitted using NYC Planning Applicants*.
To be considered complete, all applications must:
- Have all required information as well as required attachments. The full guidance for attachments is located on the NYC Planning website.
- Have payment confirmation of any applicable fees.
- Be signed by the applicant or their designated signatory.
- Contain correct information, and be clear, legible and consistent in content throughout all portions of the application package including forms, written materials, maps and drawings.
- Have undergone any applicable associated environmental review.
- Be reviewed by NYC Planning and determined as such.
To help protect yourself from scams, please be advised of the following:
- Legitimate Land Use and/or CEQR payment invoice emails come from a "@planning.nyc.gov" email address and are sent by a staff member from the Pipeline and Commission Operations team.
- DCP never requests applicants to make payments directly via email and does not accept wire transfers. All payments must be made via the Applicant Portal by e-check, credit card, Venmo, or PayPal through the Department of Finance's CityPay system. More information here.
- DCP staff always send invoices to the full team, not just one person. If you receive an invoice email addressed only to you, consider it suspicious.
