Judicial Ethics

Welcome to the Ethics Section of the Institute website. This section is aimed at providing New York City administrative law judges and hearing officers with access to information on current ethical issues, resources, and governing codes and obligations, although there may be information and links provided that are of general interest and helpful to all administrative law judges and/or those interested in issues of judicial ethics.

As part of its mission to serve as an educational resource center for the administrative judiciary in New York City, the Institute regularly presents Continuing Legal Education (CLE) accredited programs dealing with ethics and related topics. Check the Institute website for upcoming programs and events. The Institute also includes a significant ethics component as part of its internal comprehensive new judges training.
