NYC Business Quick Start Intiative is an interagency effort led by the Department of Small Business Services (SBS) to cut red tape and position NYC as the most business-friendly large city in which to open or reopen a business.
Open Culture NYC, launched in partnership with Citywide Events Coordination and Management/Street Activity Permit Office, NYC Department of Transportation, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and MOME, will permit outdoor cultural performances on designated city streets this spring. Arts and cultural institutions, as well as entertainment venues, can secure a permit for single day, socially distanced performances at over 200 street locations throughout all five boroughs.

MEND NYC is a new citywide initiative that provides free mediation and conflict resolution services to address a number of neighborhood disputes that impact New Yorkers every day. This program is an opportunity to create direct communication and compromise, establishing respectful and ongoing relationships that help New Yorkers co-exist peacefully in their communities while ensuring that small businesses thrive.
NYC X Design Corps Network, offers restaurants free consultation from design professionals who can help answer questions about improving dining area, space layout, and adapting to the outdoor dining guidelines.
