Community Board 1 reviews all applications to the Landmarks Preservation Commission in the district. Applicants should note that Community Board 1 is a distinct entity from the Landmarks Preservation Commission, and you must make a separate presentation to the Community Board before your presentation to the Landmarks Preservation Commission.

Applications are considered first by Community Board 1's Landmarks Committee before being considered by the full board.

Please be sure to bring with you all requested materials listed in our Guidelines below when you make your presentation. The Landmarks Committee will not review any application if materials are not included in the presentation.
