All children under the age of 19 in New York State are eligible for Child Health Plus. It is public health insurance coverage for free or at a low cost, depending on family income.

Emergency Medicaid:
Emergency Medicaid will provide medical payments for care and services necessary to treat an emergency medical condition.
It is available to low-income individuals in New York State. You can sign up at a hospital during an emergency.

Medicaid for DACA Recipients in New York State:
Residents of New York State who have been granted deferred action under the Obama Administration's "Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals" (DACA) program are eligible for Medicaid contingent upon income.
