I am Currently Receiving a Rent Subsidy or Have a Voucher

Starting in October, 2018, CityFHEPS will begin to combine several existing rental assistance voucher programs into one program to make it easier for people to get help, easier for landlords to get payments, and easier for DSS to manage cases.

LINC and SEPS clients will be converted to CityFHEPS when they renew, starting April 1, 2019. CITYFEPS clients will be transitioned to CityFHEPS no later than October 29, 2019.

More information on renewing, modifying, or transferring a rental assistance case will be available soon.

The following programs will be replaced by CityFHEPS

Living In Communities (LINC)

The LINC Rental Assistance Program helps move individuals and families from shelters operated by the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the New York City Department of Homeless Services (DHS) to permanent housing.
