16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign is a call to action for the prevention and elimination of all forms of gender-based violence (GBV). Join the Mayor’s Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence (ENDGBV), the NYC Commission on Gender Equity (CGE), and the Mayor’s Office of Equity (MOE) for this campaign from November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, to December 10, Human Rights Day.

This year’s campaign toolkit contains information on GBV, what it looks like, who it impacts, how you can take action to prevent GBV in New York City, and resources to support survivors and our communities. Download the Campaign Toolkit in English or download the Toolkit in other languages.

We also invite you to join us for a virtual panel discussion on “Reproductive Justice and Gender-Based Violence in NYC after Roe” on Monday, November 28, 3-4 p.m. Panelists will explore restrictions on reproductive and gender-affirming healthcare as forms of gender-based violence, discuss how NYC is responding after Roe's reversal, and identify what you can do to protect and advance reproductive justice. RSVP for this upcoming webinar.
