Orchard Beach, on Long Island Sound in Pelham Bay Park

Orchard Beach, Bronx's sole public beach, was proclaimed "The Riviera of New York" when it was created in the 1930s. Join BronxNet and BronxWorks for a Bronx Polar Bears Dip against homelessness. Come take the plunge or support the swimmers. Transportation is available courtesy of the Bronx Tourism Council. See the flyer for pickup information.

New gloves, socks, hats, and scarves will be collected to donate to BronxWorks homeless services program. Donated items may also be dropped off through Friday, February 12 at:
