Daniella Eras

Daniella Eras, Director, Special Initiatives & Operations for the NYC Civic Engagement Commission, has an MPA in Health Policy and Management with a specialization in Public Finance from NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Before her current role, Daniella served as a Budget Director for a NYC Council member, where she oversaw the office's capital and expense discretionary budgets. Previously, she completed an administrative fellowship with the South American Institute for Governance in Health in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Daniella also worked as a Budget Analyst at the Mayor's Office of Management and Budget, serving as a member of the Health Task Force which oversees the city's public health budgets. Prior to that, she was an aide to NYC Council member Helen Rosenthal where she led the district's Participatory Budgeting cycle and served on one of the first teams to work on Source of Income discrimination cases at the NYC Commission on Human Rights. Daniella has held previous positions in political campaigns, nonprofits, and advocacy groups. She holds a B.A. in Political Science, Women's Studies, and Latin American Studies from Pace University.
