Amendments serve as a way to adjust both the CDBG-DR and CDBG-NDR Action Plans in order to add or clarify information, change or add additional Programs or program benefits, or to reduce, increase, or reallocate funding, as appropriate. Amendments are divided into two categories, Substantial and Technical.

The City published non-substantial action plan amendment 24 (APA 24) to the Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grant on November 10, 2022. To download the amendment, please click on Action Plan Amendment 24.

Substantial Amendments are characterized by either an addition or deletion of any CDBG-DR or CDBG-NDR funded program, any funding change greater than $1 million, or any change in the designated beneficiaries of a program in the relevant Action Plan. Substantial amendments will be available on this site for public review and comment for at least 30 days. In addition, the City will hold at least one public hearing during the public comment period to incorporate public input into any proposed changes.

Non-Substantial Amendments are defined as minor changes that do not materially alter the activities or eligible beneficiaries. Technical Amendments are not subject to the public notification and public comment requirements.
