The NYC Commission on Human Rights combats discrimination and fights to ensure that everyone can live in, work in, or visit New York City free from discrimination and harassment. The Commission regularly hosts and participates in events in all five boroughs of New York City.
The Commission provides free workshops to educate New Yorkers about their rights and obligations under the law. Check out our full list of workshops and trainings and what they cover. Many Commission workshops are offered virtually. Organizations and individuals can sign up, and registration is required.

This course offers a brief introduction of the NYC Human Rights Law and addresses in detail specific protections, especially lawful source of income discrimination and protections for people with disabilities. It ends with providing information on potential consequences when the law is violated and offers best practices for brokers.
CE Credits: 1.5 for real estate salesperson or broker for real estate license continuing education credit (NYCEM).
