Child Support
Federal and state laws require the Office of Payroll Administration to implement support collection orders against affected City employees.
Child Support Direct Deposit
Child support payments deducted from City employees' pay may now be directly deposited into a petitioner's account at no charge.
Garnishments
The Office of Payroll Administration will garnish 10 percent of a City employee's gross salary if requested to do so by the City Marshal or the Office of the Sheriff.
IRS Tax Levies
If the Office of Payroll Administration receives notice from the IRS, it may hold an employee's pay.
