research, less than 40% of Black entrepreneurs reported that they had adequate access to mentors and advisors in operating their business.
As we continue to recover from the pandemic, the City is investing in the economic viability of Black and underrepresented communities. Technical consulting guidance will assist all entrepreneurs to succeed in an ever-changing business environment.
Through
BE NYC Access: Consulting, participating business owners will receive up to 4 hours of pro bono consulting and guidance from EY on the following topics:
• Access to capital
• 1-on-1 Mentorship
• Customer acquisition
• Financial management
• Affordable workspace
• Networking
• Learning & development
All business owners operating a business within the five boroughs of New York City are eligible to apply for the program, which has been tailored to the needs of Black entrepreneurs and other underrepresented business owners.
