“The next bill before me is Introductory Number 744, sponsored by Speaker Miller. This bill makes certain technical amendments to Local Laws 38 and 39 of 2005.
 
“These laws establish new emissions and fuel economy standards for the City’s motor vehicle fleet and required the use of ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel and the best available emission control technology on all City-owned diesel vehicles. The amendments in Intro. 744 clarify technical provisions in these laws to better match their original legislative intent.”
