VOLUNTEER SERVICES

VOLUNTEER SERVICES > VOLUNTEER SERVICES AT QHC

The volunteers at Queens Hospital Center play a vital role in providing our patients with that extra touch of personal service. Our volunteers are members of the community who offer their skill and talents to make our patient’s experience at Queens Hospital Center a little more outstanding.

Our volunteers work in a variety of settings, including clinics, laboratory, nursing, pharmacy, social work, human resources and many more departments. We also have special programs such as Foster Grandparents, ACES (Advocacy, Counseling & Entitlements Services) and a reading program for children.

Volunteers are required to give a minimum of four (4) hours per week.

To apply or for more information, contact Andrea Adams, Director of Volunteer Services, at (718) 883-2280. Applications are accepted Monday through Thursdays, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, at the “N” Bldg., Room 631
