HEALTH The Queens Center of Excellence for women is a dedicated area within our facility concerned solely with serving the medical needs facing the women within our community. Debra J. Brennessel, MD, the Center's Director, oversees a comprehensive array of services that includes obstetrics and gynecology, primary care for women, mammography, and obstetrical ultrasound. The Center incorporates a further enhancement of services such as bone densitometry required for the diagnosis and tracking of osteoporosis, mental health and geriatric services. Ongoing outreach and education efforts rely upon screening, prevention and early intervention. From a state-of-the-art birthing center to primary and specialty care services including OB-GYN, prenatal care, family planning and infertility, the Queens Center of Excellence in Women's Health contains everything today's modern woman needs to maintain optimum health.
