Patients have the right to designate any visitors, including a spouse, domestic partner, a same sex domestic partner, another family member or a friend. This hospital does not restrict, limit or otherwise deny visitation privileges based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability. Patients may withdraw or deny consent to visitation to anyone at any time.
All guests are required to obtain a pass to visit a patient. Once approved, you are issued a dated pass that must be worn at all times.
Children under 13 are not allowed in patient areas without prior approval. Speak with the head nurse before bringing children to a patient care unit. Please ask family and friends who are ill not to visit until they are healthy. Visiting hours in the intensive care units are determined by the patient's medical condition. Please see the head nurse.
If you have questions about the visiting policies or hours, speak with the nurses in the unit.
