Citizens Advisory

On Thursday, February 25, vandals broke into the offices of United Metering Incorporated, a DEP water meter installation contractor. UMI trucks, meters, and uniforms were stolen, and the perpetrators may now be posing as water meter installers. If anyone appears at your door claiming to be a UMI meter installer on, call 911 immediately. At any time, before letting any DEP worker or DEP contractor into your home, inspect their photo ID.
