| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE05-05 March 11, 2005 Contact: Natalie Millner (718) 595-6600 DEP Customer Service Borough Offices Extend Hours for Payment of Water Bills and Liens on PropertyThe New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is extending Customer Service borough office hours. Beginning Tuesday, March 15, 2005 through Monday, May 23, 2005 , DEP borough offices will be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 . Customers may receive assistance concerning their lien sale notices for outstanding water and sewer charges and may pay their bills via check or money order (cash and credit cards will not be accepted). Customers may enter into payment agreements at the DEP borough locations listed below. DEP personnel will also be available at the Department of Finance (DOF) Business Centers during regular business hours to assist customers. Customers who wish to pay with cash must visit one of the DOF Business Centers; Credit card payments will not be accepted. Payments can also be made online at any of DOF Borough Business Centers or by mail, regardless of where the property is located.
