The Mayor's Commission on Construction Opportunity

THE MAYOR'S COMMISSION ON CONSTRUCTION OPPORTUNITY
WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU

With major development projects planned over the next decade, New York City will see one of the biggest construction booms in its history. To help ensure that these projects create opportunities for all New Yorkers, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, joined by U.S. Congressman Charles B. Rangel, announced in March 2005 the establishment of the Mayor's Commission on Construction Opportunity. The Commission, representing contractors, unions, and developers, is exploring strategies and setting goals for ensuring that all New Yorkers, particularly minorities, women, returning veterans and new high school graduates, are well-prepared and can gain access to good, permanent jobs in construction. Click here for more information on the Commission and its members.

The Commission wants to hear your ideas on how to accomplish these goals. Please let us know your ideas by filling out the form.

Your thoughts - whether simple or detailed - will help guide Commission members, and lay the groundwork to make a lasting impact. We look forward to hearing from you.
