Our Neighborhoods

Clason Point is a bedroom community where the residents enjoy a rustic, rural look. Harding Park is a community formerly built as summer bungalows, but now residents reside there year round and enjoy the waterfront views facing Manhattan. The Shore Haven development is an upper blue collar neighborhood that faces the East River and enjoys  waterfront views, making it a calm and peaceful "go to" location.

Castle Hill is one of our busy business locations starting at Westchester Avenue and ending at the foot of the East River where you will find the Castle Hill Housing Authority and at the end two family homes and a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.  The commercial strip of ch is a year round go to shopping strip.  Again, a mixture of lower to middle class blue collar working resident live in these locations.

The second largest group of condominiums in the borough, Parkchester, boasts 50,000 residents in their neighborhood and was created as a middle class community. It is a vibrant commuinty with many amenities and services accessible by foot, by many of its residents.  It is a self-contained community.

Bronx River and East Tremont avenues generally bound the Park Stratton neighborhood to the north, Beach Avenue to the east, the service road of the Cross Bronx Expressway to the south, and Noble Avenue to the west.   Parkchester is a few blocks to the east and Noble Park is located on its western boundary.  The nearest subway is the East 180th Street stop of the #2 and #5 lines.  The area is serviced by the BX 40 and BX 42 buses, which travel along East Tremont Avenue and the BX 44 bus, which travels along the service road of the Cross Bronx Expressway.

Soundview is a mixed community with New York City Housing Authority sites on the boarders of Bruckner Blvd (East and West) and residential one-family/ two-family homes scattered throughout the community.  The blue collar Soundview Community is served by MTA mass transit and the number 6 line on Westchester Avenue complementing this community giving easy access to the Bruckner Expressway and the Cross Bronx Expressway.  Serving the community is the Westchester Community Strip serving from Bronx River Avenue/Westchester to Morrison Avenue and along Soundview we have local supermarkets and stores.  Soundview has easy access to the largest park founded in our community Soundview Park.  With more than 150 acres it holds beautiful grassy areas it is part of our greenway project connecting parks throughout the borough into Westchester it has several baseball diamonds and recreational spaces and it has lush green areas where people can gather at family events.

Unionport community boarders the Cross Bronx Expressway, Bruckner Blvd and White Plains Road and is largely comprised of two family homes.   It is serviced by the Castle Hill Business Association which is located on Castle Hill Ave and Westchester Avenue.   This is one of our busiest commercial strips there’s easy aces to Cross Bronx Expressway, Bruckner Blvd, and the Bronx River Pkwy.  It is serviced by several schools in the neighborhood and it boarders close to the proximity of Parkchester, the Parkchester train station and Castle Hill train station serves as its main debarkation point; it also boarders on the Zeregea Industrial Park which is the location for our major manufacturing businesses in our community.
