Rockefeller Center Christmas TreeNov 30, All Day Event48th Street - 51st Street, between Fifth and Sixth Avenue
The 2022 tree will be lit for the first time on Wednesday, November 30 at Rockefeller Plaza. Each year, thousands crowd the sidewalks for the event and millions watch the live broadcast. The tree will remain lit and on display on the plaza between West 48th and 51st Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues through early 2023. On Christmas day, the lights shine for a full 24 hours.

Learn how to create your own natural holiday wreath for indoors or outdoors. All supplies will be provided along with natural pine cones and ribbon to decorate your own handmade, festive wreath. Bring your favorite decorations to add as well!

Lewis Latimer House Museum will be sharing homemade milk and cookies, enjoying our annual tree lighting, and hosting fun winter activities that children of all ages can enjoy.

Test out our mini winter experiments at the North Pole, build an edible snowman at the Elf Tinker Shop or enjoy gingerbread arts and crafts with Mrs. Claus.
