In this newsletter, we are inviting you to save the date for our upcoming ' Town Call for Hospitality Workers', ways to help you celebrate the holiday season safely with the latest COVID-19 information and guidelines, as well as sharing business resources including financial assistance programs from the NYC Department of Small Business Services, and information on sandbags, snow stakes and water-filled barriers for Open Restaurant program participants from the NYC Department of Transportation.
Lastly, we are sharing helpful resources to free food pantries, health and wellness, and other available programs and benefits to support you during this difficult time.

COVID Zones
New York State COVID Zone restrictions are in effect in certain parts of each borough.
REMINDER: All bars, restaurants, gyms, or fitness centers, as well as any establishment licensed by the State Liquor Authority are required to close from 10PM up to 5 AM daily statewide. Restaurants are still allowed to provide curbside pick-up or delivery after 10:00pm.
*(Serving alcohol to go is prohibited after 10:00pm).

COVID Holiday & Travel Advisory |
New York State’s COVID-19 Travel Advisory outlines guidelines for anyone traveling into New York State. This includes New Yorkers who have traveled to other states or countries, as well as people visiting New York.
Non-essential travel is strongly discouraged. For more information, and for rules applicable to first responders and essential workers, visit the New York State website at: coronavirus.health.ny.gov/ or call the New York State hotline at 888-364-3065. |

Indoor and outdoor gatherings at private residences are limited to no more than 10 people under NY State Executive Order 202.74. Social distancing, face covering, and cleaning and disinfecting protocols are required by the NYS Department of Health. |

Outdoor Dining Winterization
The NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued additional guidance for Open Restaurants to make all roadway seating areas as safe as possible this winter. Sandbags, reflector tape, snow sticks, and plastic barriers will be available to all participants, free of charge.
Participating restaurants will be emailed with distribution and pickup detail. In addition, the City is ready to help program participants with any questions and is deploying a team of inspectors to help owners and managers to understand new and existing requirements.
