Latest ACCESS NYC News
New Program: IDNYC
IDNYC is the new, free identification card for all New York City residents. ACCESS NYC has been updated to include screening for IDNYC under the “City Identification Programs.” Additional information on how to apply and which programs accept IDNYC for documentation is also available.
Print Medicaid Renewals
New Yorkers under 65 years old, who are not blind or disabled, and are currently on Medicaid can now print their renewal form on ACCESS NYC. Clients who have lost their Medicaid Renewal form or have never received one, can log in to ACCESS NYC, enter their identifying information, print and fill out their renewal form, and mail it back to HRA. Note: this is currently available only for the “MAGI” Medicaid population, meaning they are under 65 years old and are not blind or disabled.
Mobile App: Submit SNAP
Documents to HRA
HRA has created a new tool to help SNAP clients submit their documents – an important part of the process to receive or renew SNAP benefits. Clients or caseworkers with a smartphone or tablet can now visit www.nyc.gov/hradocs or download the mobile app from the Google Play store. Clients can then take a picture of their document, enter their information to associate the picture with their SNAP case, and securely transmit it to HRA.
