NEW YORK CITY ARTIST CORPS SHOWCASES AND PERFORMANCES OCTOBER 2021

The New York City Artist Corps was created by Mayor de Blasio in spring 2021 as a way of providing relief to New York City’s hard-hit arts community while bringing a diverse range of free cultural programming to all New Yorkers. City Artist Corps members have fanned out across the five boroughs to present workshops, exhibitions, performances, installations, murals, and much more - free and open to all.

October will mark the culmination of these City Artist Corps public engagements, with several showcases and hundreds of individual events happening across the city. Coinciding with National Arts and Humanities Month, the City Artist Corps October Showcases are a citywide celebration driven by this once-in-a-generation investment in the City’s artists as a way of reconnecting residents to the city they love, and fostering a fair, equitable, and vibrant recovery for all.

Below is a list of free showcases and other City Artist Corps programs and events happening through the end of October. Follow #CityArtistCorps on social media to learn more about City Artist Corps members and activations happening across the five boroughs.
